ConVerge’s flagship tenant is OWP Pharmaceuticals. The for-profit company specializes in epilepsy treatment, but more than half its profits go toward helping the under-served epilepsy population around the world through the ROW Foundation.
North Central College sales and marketing interns Manilyn Gomapas and Kattie Cotterhave spent their summer experiencing the startup culture of a social enterprise.
Owner Brenda Gregory considers ConVerge as part of her team, both as “my coach to prepare for startup” and “to find interns that have transitioned into permanent hires.” North Central College entrepreneurship students Maddie Synder and Vanessa Harrison were able to take everything they learned in the classroom and apply it to help Brenda manage operations in her growing her South Naperville business.
Mike and Pam Cooper operate a new Naperville Senior Center offering a host of fun and fitness activities to engage with seniors. The Center’s offerings are unlike other facilities in the Chicago area. They are working with ConVerge to create new marketing strategies to grow the business and to develop an internship for a North Central College student.
Their unique services are directed at families and caregivers responsible for a loved one yet need an alternative to costly senior living.
