This “boot camp” is for the more serious entrepreneur moving forward in launch. Many key factors must come together to make a viable business. This workshop is a packed day of training targeted at both startups and existing businesses that require a business plan for outside capital. The workshop will include time to practice writing some of the more critical sections of your plan.
You will learn the following:
*Each of the 12 critical components of the business plan and what makes you bankable
*How to understand and identify your business model
*How to use industry resources to help characterize your market, its size, the industry’s growth potential and how to find competitors
*Steps to identify both your competitive advantage and value proposition
*How to make realistic revenue projections and focus on cash flow
The course also includes an hour with an attorney and another with a financial expert to share realistic expectations for an SBA loan.
You will have time with a librarian to learn about resources and how you can access them to write your plan. Training includes a working lunch, handouts, online templates to write a business plan and follow-up time with an entrepreneur coach.
The six-hour workshop is offered on eleven different dates in 2017: February 23, March, 23, April 27, May 25, June 22, July 27, August 24, September 21, October 26, November 30, December 21, 2017.
